If you’d like to learn some new skills & serve your community by becoming a volunteer lifesaver, please contact the Club. It’s never too late to join!

Registrations for the next season always start in late August and run through September on Sunday afternoons at our regular get together, ‘Sips’

We offer a range of Membership categories including: Active (Patrolling) Members, Award Members and Nippers.

Nippers

Our Nippers run from October to March on Sundays from 9am until approximately 11am by our friendly, qualified and enthusiastic age managers in a safe beach environment. Nippers at The Entrance Surf Club encourages fun, surf awareness, learning of new skills and making lots of new friends.

All Nippers must have a parent join with them as either an Active member or an Associate member.

The absolute minimum age for Nippers is 5 years. Age is determined as at midnight on 30th September at the commencement of that season.

This season we are introducing ‘The Enny Gulls’, a special group just for the 2-5 year old siblings of our Nippers! Lots of fun will be had each week with Amy as The Enny Gulls age manager.

We have weekly encouragement awards to encourage our Nippers to be the best they can be whilst having so much fun and learning water safety skills.

Become A Patrolling Member

We Need You! The old adage that many hands makes light work always rings true. We’re looking for new members to join our Club to assist with keeping our beach safe for locals and visitors.

You don’t need to be an Ironman, as there are a range of roles that are available. You could specialise in Communications, First Aid or Education. You don’t even need to get wet, if you don’t want to!

Surf Sports

If you love the beach and being in the water, then our Surf Sports program is perfect for you! Joining our club gives you the opportunity to participate in a range of different surf sports, from traditional lifesaving events to more unique disciplines like SUP and rescue swimming

Not only is it great exercise and a lot of fun, but being part of our Surf Sports program also gives you the chance to meet new people and make new friends. Plus, you’ll be playing an important role in keeping our beaches safe for everyone to enjoy.

Award Members	2025/2026 Fees:	$55 per person
Associate Members	2025/2026 Fees:	$65 per person
Nippers / Juniors	2025/2026 Fees:	$60 per child (6 - 7 years) $70 per child (8 - 13 years)
The Enny Gulls	2025/2026 Fees:	$50 per child (2 - 5 years)

Family Cap:

2025/2026 Fees:

$230 per season

A Family Cap of $230 applies, inclusive of all categories.
A “Family” is considered to be 2 adults and up to 3 children of a single household.
$40 per additional member after the cap is applied.
A parent must join with each Nipper from the U6-U14 age group and/or The Enny Gull group.

Don’t forget, we accept Active Kids Vouchers which can be combined to purchase club swimmers and merchandise.
